I have made a career out of my passion for horses and am qualified to BHSII level and have many years experience teaching and training clients of all levels. As well as teaching I have trained and competed my own horses nationally in show jumping, dressage, showing and cross-country and have also produced and competed horses on behalf of my clients. Through my knowledge and experience with horses that are working and competing at different disciplines and levels I realised that to help a horse achieve its optimum performance then sometimes more than good care and training are needed. Having used various therapists on my own horses over the years I decided to train as a McTimoney-Corley Spinal Therapist and in November 2002 received my Diploma in McTimoney-Corley Animal Manipulation. Through an introduction to The Equine Touch whilst on my course at the Oxford College of Equine Physical Therapy, I went on to train and qualify as an Equine Touch Practioner. Other training I have undertaken includes a Master Saddler’s saddle fitting course, First Degree Reiki and KC LaPierre barefoot trimming.. With all these ‘tools’ in my box I feel I am well placed to address any problem an owner may come up against.
